The US Open

               The US is proud of being one of the oldest tennis championships in the world. The first contest occurred in 1881. Chronologically Grand Slam tournaments crown with the US Open which is annually held in August and September over a two-week period.

There are five different championships which form the tournament: men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles, also there are additional tournaments for junior, senior and wheelchair players.
